03 Mar, 2025Himanta Biswa Sarma's statement: 'The decade 2004-14 was unfortunate, where the government was not accountable' असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने हाल ही में कहा कि 2004-14 का दशक भारतीय राजनीति के लिए दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण था, जब सरकार की कमान ऐसे व्यक्तियों के हाथों में थी, जो संसद के प्रति जवाबदेह नहीं थे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि यहां तक कि इंदिरा गांधी भी अपने कार्यों के लिए संसद के प्रति जवाबदेह थीं, लेकिन 10 जनपथ स्वतंत्र रहा। उनके इस बयान ने कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व और उस समय की सरकार की कार्यशैली पर सवाल उठाए हैं।
